Makes finding studs simple! If you're like me, you've struggled with magnetic stud finders that are more or less accurate and can leave you driving a screw into unsupported drywall. The Walabot solves that issue. Simply connect via USB and calibrate, and it literally shows you where the studs are. It's easier and more accurate than any consumer-grade magnetic finder. Highly recommend. Only caveat: the adhesive pad is sticky. Find something to keep it clean and dry.

It works fine as a stud finder, but I don't like the way that I need to create an online account to use a stud finder, don't like being tracked with advertising ids, etc. Minus one star for that. The fine print says: You acknowledge that you are aware that this App and the Sensor should not be relied on exclusively to locate items below a scanned surface. So you need also a real stud finder. Another minus star.

I am a Cabinet Installer and I had the original unit until someone in the business thought that it was worth to take my unit instead of buying one. With that said, I really liked the product and it does what it says it will. That is untill you go to the side of the house that is a concrete wall and you are trying to find the 1x2 on the wall. Forget about it working. I am thinking on getting a new one because of the finding wires and pipes aspect of it, as far as studs, magnets are easy and cheap
