The Walden app, website, and the company behind them are exceptional. I highly recommended switching to Walden Mutual. They are one of the few banks that are actually acting responsibly with the money you give them. Their app also works properly even on Grapheme OS (i.e. without a normal Google Play installation). This is in contrast with many other apps that were lazily developed and as a result don't work when you try to use them on a phone that doesn't collude to make money off of you.

For such a small bank, the app is fantastic. It's not as powerful as the largest bank, but it's much better than other Tier 1s (I'm looking at you, BoA). This one works. About Walden itself: it's delightful. They sent me a handwritten welcome letter. I love that my money is helping the world. They have pretty good APY. They are FDIC insured. 10/10.

App works well and is easy to use, and customer service is always prompt and very helpful. Not to mention their amazing work with local, sustainable agriculture! I'm a Walden customer for life!!
