I have just started using this app and so far I love it. I'm looking for my 1st home and it has helped me decide if I should even bother looking at the house or not. I have 3 children who are growing up and will be eventually taking public transit. Great idea!
States the obvious Basically a synopsis of the app can be written as follows... City=walkable (because there's lots of stuff in the city, like restaurants and places to work everywhere. Suburbs = less walkable, cause the suburbs are more spread out and are less urban, or "sub- urban" as it is also known to be called. Rural = car dependent (or horse), cause stuff is a long way off! Genius! Maybe there is more to it than this, and there should be. Two cents... add a crime overlay to the algorithm. Gonna uninstall now.
Needs Tweaking between app and site I don't understand how there's an option to have listings emailed to you based on your search but when those same emailed listings are searched for through the app they don't exist. Please clarify why that happens or fix. It also appears that many of the listing are not actually available. There needs to be some diligence about maintaining current listing.
Whenever on the site it showed more options, I don't think the app is worth it and now the mobile website at least isn't as good either anymore. I'm really disappointed
Walk, bike, transit & drive scoring Brilliant! The app is much better than the web site. Web site confuses my desire for a walk score with my (lack of) desire to rent an apartment.
So far Using S4 with AT&T in the middle in Chicago. I didn't see the status of a place I sold as a Realtor months ago, but then, I already knew that :) For real estate, I only use quick and pretty sites just to be fast (no sign-in). Then I have to go confirm that with the ugly but truthful but buggy and slow MLS (for Realtor use). I got this for walking capacity. It gave me everything there, exactly what I asked for. We'll see. I don't like it wanting my email and I won't ok that.
