March 2024 update Everything works fine now... thx Washington post for being responsive. Some improvements still possible because by its nature it is a lot of information on a small screen, but it remains my go-to news (From 2022) Download and installed from Google play store (so one would assume that the latest version was installed) however when tried to open and use, a forced message to get an "update" from the Play Store puts one in an endless and unsolvable loop. Still can't get the news.

I love WaPo journalism/reporting but the app is driving me crazy. Home button should be on every screen. If I click on links to other articles, then more links, then I have to press the back button over and over to get to the home screen. Crossword puzzles really should automatically save. Is this 1999? So many lost crosswords! Also, on the home page it keeps jerking me back to the top. Very annoying.

I like listening to articles on the way to work but all of a sudden the settings changed and after I'm done with an article it starts playing some other random article. I refuse to use the audio files anymore until this is turned back. It doesn't cause me to listen more it causes me to listen less and be angry at the Washington Post. Please turn off the auto play I do not have that option in the settings

Sorry for your trouble. Although there is currently no option to turn off auto-play for audio, our team is looking into possibly adding this enhancement in the future. Thanks for your feedback!
