Good but could use improvement It needs customizable reminders with a link to the app and more size options with a converter or a metric/US option in settings. I love that you can add tea/alcohol/coffee and it will add the amount of water that needs replacement. That is why I chose this over my old one. But without the above features it is not very efficient, honestly. Unless these are added, I will be on the lookout for an app with them. Update: I have found an app with these features
Nearly great, but ultimately fails At first the app seems very good. Simple layout, easy to use. BUT when you add in tea it negatively affects your water balance which is scientifically incorrect! Yes it acts as a diuretic but it still hydrates you nonetheless. Also would be better to add in exercise on a day by day basis, not everyone has a strict weekly schedule they can stick to in this day and age. Fix these 2 things and I would rate 5 stars.
Can be useful if updated Are you guys stuck in 1928? If you make yourselves familiar with more recent research results, you'll find out coffee do not require water rehydration in 1:1 ratio. It might slightly rehydrate a body, when consumed in large amounts. But in the app 100ml of coffee basically decrease balance exactly by the amount of 100ml of water. Since this app trying to be useful for staying healthy, it shouldn't use myths from the beginning of the last century. Also, would be much more helpful to regulate alcohol amount in bees/wines, etc.
Some enhancements required It is one of the best apps especially for those who do not acquire the habit of drinking water. However it needs some enhancements to be the best. (On android) 1. You can't read the full notification coz when clicked it directly activates the app without displaying the full notification. 2. User should be able to trace the breakdown of liquid replenishment by time during the day. Other than that, it is a great app.
No imperial units for USA usage or have the ability to change measurement amounts. This app only works in metric units also known as SI ( international standard units). Even though the United States is only one of a handful of countries who it still uses imperial units, those units should be offered on this app as well to accommodate United States national who only no the imperial system but would like to become healthier. Upon further review the app does not have the ability to change amounts of measurement nor does it have the ability to correct previous day's entries.
Really seemed like a cool app But not ideal for me because of no option to use U.S. measurements. I could make a ballpark conversion in my head every time I drink water, but there are plenty of apps out there that don't require me to do this so I will just use one of those instead.
We love hearing from you! Thanks for your feedback.
