As is. For a free app I am extremely satisfied to the extent that as soon as I am done transferring my historical transactions I'll be fully sold. Now for those who say it takes forever to process, the photo has to be clear then wait for a couple of minutes surely the world doesn't end in 5 minutes, come back and hit refresh. Edit two things, insert that note and presto. My only wish was that the app accessed the entire website. But good job. Oh and bill reminders would be awesome but that's why I have Trello
Unsustainable business practices I really had high hopes for this company, but their focus seems to be on new features rather fixing usability on existing. I paid for their premium support for years and repeatedly asked for simple usability changes. They also couldn't fix my connectivity issues with my bank, where wouldn't sync then the connection would disappear. Their response is set it up again and again. If your into working smartly and efficiently, avoid this product.
A nice clean uncrimpled well-lit receipt from Carrabba's. What does Wave call it? "Flanagan's". Then, in addition to manually retyping the merchant name, it requires that I type in a mountain of empty fields. Really, a receipt scanner needs to allow me to snap a photo of a receipt, with minimal taps (1 to open the app + 1 to snap the picture), and then go away and quietly and *correctly* transcribe the receipt. But the interface is attractive.
Pretty happy, but upload slow I have used Wave for over 6 years now and I love it! Sure, there are some issues at times but for a free accounting service you can't beat it. This receipt app is pretty slow with the upload process and it would be really nice if it had a split function as there are times personal items are mixed in with business but I just use notes so it's clear to me.
Good It's a good app but needs improving. It's slow. I think that's because of the receipt verification process which incorporates character recognition. I suggest adding settings that enables users to simply manually load without online character recognition to improve speed. After all if the online verification fails, it defaults to manual but after wasting precious five to ten minutes.
Currently not working at all 12/7/15 For the past 2 days j have not been able to get it to work. Receipts "process" and they disappear. It was pretty decent before but slow like others have said. *update* 10 days later - Still doesn't work. Email to support was returned 2 days later telling me to make sure my phone was up to date. I replied to that email and said my phone is indeed up to date. No response 3 days so far.... 1/6/16 still not working. How can these recent positive reviews be real?
