Inconvenient when needed. You can't have Wi-Fi on when using it to validate your info, so you have to wait to turn it off and try again. There's no tracking, just checking it. Unless you have a set schedule and set a bunch of reminders set for it to automatically update, you have to go through the tedious process of opening the app, using mobile data to validate, then checking while it updates. Certainly not worth $10 a month, not unless history or tracking can be added or it gets more user friendly.
It shows me my son is somewhere in Queens, or maybe even parts of Brooklyn. At least I know he's in the city...
There are apps that can do this basic service for free. It's not very accurate most of the time and is very slow like 20-40 seconds to show the location. Definitely not worth $10 a month.
Customer service is weak. Fairly good for Android useless for iPhone, should be usable on WiFi. Randomly drops phones out of family and just as randomly they reappear.
Doesn't work if your kids have iPhones and you have android
Couldn't even get past the validation screen. Then I was locked out
