4.5 Very reliable app. Have been using in Malaysia for 3 years. Came to Australia and it's working beautifully here as well. Can be trusted and relied upon in any traffic conditions. The only reason I am not rating it 5 is the continued voice navigation on turns, roundabouts etc, should be enough if it can just voice navigate us once rather than continuously voice navigating till you cross the point.
Better Interface has improved tremendously over the past few months, searches have improved, and it seemed to have become stable. Overall much better…but I still cannot recommend. Between the popup ads which cover the map, and the fact that it still announces distance to next turn in minutes (a changing variable) instead of distance (a fixed variable) prerty much ruin it. Try back later…
Very useful, can be social, & gas $'s The older version is great. So far this version is nearly great. I can't find a way to review the reports. I can only report them. If you know how let me know please. Also the report screen needs to be smaller and/or transparent. Otherwise you have nothing else you can see. Seems like the "other side" option is gone. It stops us from helping as much as before. It would also be nice to be able to adjust where reports are placed. It had been crashing most of the time. It seems like that has stopped.
Poor directions and tough to zoom in andd out I'm a big fan of Google Maps and was excited about trying to waze again after getting rid of it a couple years ago. Unfortunately it still doesn't do it that great a job. OnStar gives better directions and a little better advance notice. In addition it apparently can't get gas prices. I was hoping to have an app that had the gas prices as part of the navigation. GasBuddy does great for that but not Waze.
Awesome but needs one thing Tens of thousands of Uber and Lyft drivers use Waze, but it still does not direct them to the correct side of the street to pickup passengers. Surely this is a simple add, to match the street address and route accordingly so riders can safely enter curbside and not have to cross busy streets.
Not bad Not a bad app at all. Helpful. Sometimes better and more accurate than Google maps. However, waze does tend to lose its GPS signal fairly easily and more frequently than Google maps, MID-DRIVE!!!! Which is not so great! I don't understand how it loses the GPS signal while driving through parts of Manhattan, Westchester, and Connecticut. And I'm NOT talking about rural areas! That's pretty frustrating. Buttttttt other than that, it's pretty good.
* New shortcut menu added to the Navigation list for quick actions. Tap the "three-dots" icon to easily send a location, add an address to favorites and more.
