Ratings and reviews

After multiple crash issues on earlier versions, by 2023 and Android 13, things are much better and more stable. However, adding a stop or other alteration to a recommended route is still very difficult and also it's a pain having to decide arrival time if you want to pre-plan a route. It's also difficult to plan a route other than from your current location. Google Maps is still much easier to use.

It used to be the best navigation app, but it keeps getting worse. Traffic information is not accurate or non-existent, no alternatives are offered and you are stuck in huge traffic jams. If disconnected from Android Auto, you have to click 10 times while driving to resume the route you had - this is dangerous! Speaking of dangerous - why is the report button on the furthest right part of the screen - so far from the driver?! It needs to be swapped with the box showing the remaining time.

Love the routing, usually, and the up to date reporting. But search is broken at the moment - won't show correct results for a post code, or even a street name search. Also gets stuck having chosen a destination, refusing to display a route at all. These are two pretty critical issues that have been reported but not resolved, and are the reason it's impossible to recommend the app if you are going somewhere new! *Edit - generally above issues are Resolved.
