Ratings and reviews

Not sure what's changed with this app as of late and it used to be my favorite navigation app. I literally use it to travel almost everywhere. However, lately it's been suffering from connection problems. My phone will have full Internet either through Wi-Fi or 5G and somehow the app will tell me it's reconnecting for no reason and the only way I've been able to correct it is by killing the app completely and then coming back in. But then, 5-10 minutes later it's reconnecting again. Annoying

I recently downloaded this because I found out that you can use a custom voice for navigation. However, after downloading the voice I wanted, it always defaults to a different one. No matter how many times I select the voice I want, it never works during a trip. It's very frustrating because that was the feature that made me consider this app in the first place. I've tried everything with no luck.

Latest update means constant "cannot calculate routes" and "cannot connect". Even when I type in thr exact address, as soon as a I try to start "there was a problem showing locations". This app has gone down steadily for years since Google acquired it. Amazing how a company with so much in the way of resources has managed to mess it up this badly. Make it functional again, instead of adding more useless moods and features.
