Android Auto: I like the new AA redesign. However, sometimes I only see the splash/welcome screen and can only see the app map if it is the side app. When it's the side app, I only get the button "see updates". Some other times I only see a solid color instead the map loading as if map loading failed. Also, when will the lane info be shared to the car like G Maps?! EDIT: the support link shared via the reply to this review has no place for me to report any of this!

While I have really enjoyed Waze in the past, the recent update has really made any interactive features basically unusable and a hazardous distraction. My Mazda 3 uses a dial to move the cursor around the screen. Now, when it is used, additional buttons pop up, making it more difficult to find the button you are looking for. Even worse, if you leave it there for a short time, it resets itself to the search icon. Totally unhelpful. And more buttons were added to clutter the screen.

Doesn't allow easy selection of toll/highway-free routes. You need to dig into the menus every time. Same w/vehicle type. Don't tell me there's no upper level of menus where you couldn't add this, that's just not true. Terrible integration with Spotify, it stopped connecting after a few weeks. Reinstalling everything did nothing. I'm on the top of the line pixel phone right now, a 7 Pro, if this doesn't make it work, I don't know what will. Also,don't route me through bad/narrow/winding streets.
