I'm very disappointed with the new update for Android Auto. The solid black UI elements are jarring, and the new UI sucks. I'm short, so I have trouble reaching the controls that have been moved to the top right corner of my car's display. When the app launches, it shows recent destinations instead of home/work/search. This is very unintuitive. I wish the controls and design hadn't been so drastically changed. Please move the controls to the left and make home/work/search the default.

I love the new interface and especially the Android Auto interface. The new update seems to have some big issues, however. It seems like most of these have to do with notifications. I don't get many "Time to leave!" or "Plan to leave" notifications, even the ones that come the night before anymore. I rely on these for a lot of things. Also, my car doesn't show navigation information through Android Auto on it's customizable screen which seems to use notifications from Waze.

I have been a consistent Waze user for almost 10 years at this point, and I have to say... The Android Auto changes have been nothing short of a headache. The most egregious change has been the navigation options on launching the app. It used to have Home and Work as the first two choices, but now I have to use the search function to get to those. I've also found it difficult that searches made on the normal phone do not carry over to the history on Android Auto. Frustrating, hoping for a fix.
