Pay for upgrade that's free elsewhere To upgrade is $9.99. Why pay this when you can get free access elsewhere. Shame on WNEP for charging so much for something free elsewhere. Where is your sense of community? Weather Channel has free alerts and you all use Google Maps.
The WRAL weather app is identical to this, with the exception that WRAL sponsors their app and the features are unlocked. It still gives weather and alerts for WNEP coverage areas, but you don't have to pay the $9.99 (outrageous) to unlock them. I'd pay $5.00,not double that, because I believe in supporting developers. Don't know the reason for price disparity, but I assume that WNEP is skint! Must be because of that 6 figure salary they pay Snedecker. ;-)
Its a joke !!!! :-\ :-[ o_O Very disappointment its a joke i don't get any news nor any warnings they want u to pay for it or u pick three day free trial nope sorry guys maybe if everything was free so im deleting it sorry i will go online or else wear to see or too look up free alerts and forecast
Really 9.99 to get a text, are you serious.
Ridiculous that I am expected to pay to get a text or even to be alerted by a weather company for your own viewers safety. Uninstalling thanks wnep
