I am with the others here, I really enjoyed the app before. I was happy to have paid for it amd it gave me peace of mind during severe weather. With the new update however, that is not the case. I shouldn't have to have my location on all the time. Respectfully, I am not going to use this anymore. I am not trying to be mean or anything, it is just that it's like I paid for something else and now I don't have that. Also: Before I had access to the weekly forecast and now I have to pay a monthly fee if I want that? Have I got that part wrong?
Seriously... This is ridiculous. I've seen way to many one star reviews and it's always the same answer from your customer service. You broke a good app and you want people to pay more money for a feature that should've stayed free. What are you guys doing? And don't give me the same bs that you've given everyone else enough is enough. And my alerts aren't working either...
Bring back the old version. This doesn't push the alerts I'd like it to... winter storm watches and advisories... the winter storm warning was pushed half a day after it was issued. The maps aren't as good... winter weather advisories on the map are almost impossible to see. I don't trust this app anymore for live coverage.
I am very disappointed in this new updated version. I had used Storm Shield on a regular basis for many years. I felt comfortable with the alerts, notifications and ease of use. Please give those of us who prefer the older version the option to return to it. If not given that option, I will probably uninstall the app.
I too used to love this app and recommended to everyone I knew. Now...I despise the interface. Its ugly, not nearly as user friendly, definitely not highly intuitive. Bugs in alerts have broken my trust in its functionality, right before storm season no less. I would very much like the old design back and only the hope that enough complaints will see that happen has kept me from deleting it entirely.
I paid 4.99 for the original application and it was much better than this and it did have future but you're saying the old app didn't...the features the original application had was much better. It used to open to your location close up now it opens to complete country's view and you have to zoom in...I have the Channel 8 application and it provides more usability for free. Very disappointed. You changed a very good product into junk and the original $4.99 application DID HAVE STORM TRACKS. I want the features back that I paid $4.99 for.
