So I've been with Wealthfront for several months now and believe they are a great way to begin your investment journey. Easy to use and set up, and their bank transactions move pretty quickly with both depositing and withdrawing. I have a taxable account and a Roth with Wealthfront and also track things such as bank accounts, credit cards, and other investments I have. Which brings me to the only complaint I have about the app. Manual assets cannot be tracked easily with the app. You can set up an initial amount, but there is no way to edit the amount the asset is worth without going on the actual website. This feature would complete the experience, especially for those of us that have very diverse investments outside banks/Wealthfront.
Best way to invest money period! Been using Wealtfront for 3 years. I absolutely love it. However I liked the previous version of path better that didn't account for my housing costs for me. After the last path change it pushed out my retirement target date 6 years for the same monthly withdraw.
Can we have both tax loss harvesting and dividends received info?
Absolutely love this app. It makes it so easy to track all my finances in a single place. Plus the app has a great UI.
The app looks similar to the Website, works pretty well. I enabled fingerprint auth, easy.
Why was the feature to track received dividends removed?
- View tax losses harvested in your accounts
- Path: plan to buy a home
- Account transfer: transfer an investment account to Wealthfront
- Path: plan for retirement
- College goal (with a 529 account)
- Push notifications
- Pin & Fingerprint lock
- Portfolio Line of Credit
- Real Estate & Mortgage
- Shake to Share
- Invitations to get more money managed for free
