Invested Nov 2016 in a growth portfolio. Set up was quick and pretty easy. Took about a week for money to transfer and everything to be set up. Had to withdraw for down payment on a house, otherwise I would have stayed with them, and it took 4 business days to get my money. I was really impressed at how fast and easy the withdrawal was. I did it all from the app! Its so easy to use. I had a great 13 months with wealthsimple. Made over 16% interest. I will be back in the future!
The terms and conditions don't inspire much confidence. Read through before making your decision to use this service. I'm out.
A basic app that gives you what you need but could use some additional features. It would be great if the app went straight to the login screen and using your fingerprint to login is great but not when it also asks for your password, authenticator and pattern, this is excessive and frustrating. Also the pattern unlock shows up even when disabled and the support link just goes to the website rather than allowing you to send a note from the app. Still let's you see your returns on the fly, just not as complete as the site.
Why did you guys override @OnBackPressed? Edit: by this I mean I can't exit the app by pressing the back button It was working for a few weeks and now it's broken again!
The app is useful and user friendly. However this company's customer support and responsiveness is totally useless. Think twice before investing your valuable assets.
Now that fingerprint security check is incorporated, I love using this app more! It's simple to use and I use this to add money to my investments.
We squashed the bugs, ironed out the kinks, and greased the gears. To be honest, this update is filled with fixes and upgrades that may not be noticeable to the untrained eye, but “greased the gears” is a cliche we’ve been wanting to use for a while.
