Ratings and reviews

From a weather perspective, the app seems fine. From a notification perspective, however, is is very poor. I have only significant weather event notifications enabled but still get non-weather notification alerts. Oddly enough, I don't get local significant weather alerts, like the winter storm warning going on right now. Should you choose to watch a video, you will be given an ad before every one. I am looking elsewhere for a weather app to use.

I used to really like The Weather Channel app. It is accurate and has a good widget. Unfortunately, the ads have gotten so ridiculous. It's not just a bar, or an ad while scrolling. It's full screen timed ads that you have to close in order to continue. After I complained about the intrusive ads I was politely told that I could subscribe or shut up. I am tired of it and am switching apps.

OMG, slow, choppy, freezes and their predictions are wrong, wrong, wrong. I had uninstalled for a very long time hoping it would get better...it didn't. Two years ago it was the best, but they have upgraded till its not. The alert you to bad weather, it's not to be trusted. It's all about the money, everytime you click on it you get different results...DONE.
