What most don't know only because they've not kept up with technology or just plsinly don't care. Webroot; maintained the number one spot in Antivirus Softwares for a 5 year stretch. Kaspersky has come close s few times in claiming that coveted spot. A year after it came out it had a number one spot but was short lived within 6 months. There have been two other softwares in past two years that have claimed number one. But Webroot always on their tail. In past 7 years Webroot has found many "false-positives" that other softwares missed. Like Norton and Kaspersky and AVG. If your device (desktop PC, Laptop, cellphone) will allow it, use of more than one Antivirus software is advised. On a PC, "RegEdit", that is where to find a root. Like the fella that had paid version then tried to install free version. Every bit of the paid has to be removed before the free can be installed. Yeah I know, pain in butt. I have had both Norton 360 and Webroot on a PC and IBM Laptop. Once in awhile 360 will catch things Webroot missed.
There is None Better Notification tray is great. The icon at top of the screen is just a little harder to see as it is now a white outline rather than the previous coloured green. But I suppose I am being too picky. This is a Google implimentation not a Webroot one. The app works well with outstanding customer focused support and if the only issue is a white outlined icon that was a forced change by Google then no problem. Thank you for taking the time to reply and thank you for your continued hard work very much appreciated
Experiencing lag and restarting of the phone during scans. When I am running a scan of the device the phone gets bogged down and restarts.
Persistent Status always "You may be at risk" A recent update has again forced the Persistent Status to stay at "You may be at risk", this time for "Secure Web Browsing disabled". Please again add a 'Hide/Discard' option for this notice, TY.
Great product!!! If you have a subscription as I do, you have too download this Free version. It will then let you enter your Keycode and use the upgraded version. I had issues when I downloaded the actual Security one, as did a lot of people in the review section. Thought this might help those that see this!
