June 17 update has caused no issues. This app is so well developed and updated it gives a feeling of safety. Very small footprint and hardly uses any resources. If all apps were backed by the developer as this one is life would be great. Thanks for your continued hard work.

After last update permanent notification icon has gone, despite being turned on in settings. This has happened before and was put right. Rather disappointed to see it has happened again. Please resolve, Webroot. Android 6.0.1.

Every time I restart my phone I get a nonstop popup that the app keeps closing for hours before it stops. It's taking me awhile to type this because of said popup. Choosing close app option does nothing. Deleting app.

Question: I have this app on my Android KitKat tablet which i installed within days of purchasing the tablet and I just installed it on my new Android Marshmallow tablet. My Android Marshmallow tablet has the little "you're protected" icon in the top left corner and my Android KitKat used to have that icon, but it no longer appears. My question is: Why doesn't it appear on Android KitKat anymore and will it ever return? P.S. I gave you a fabulous review on my other tablet's Google play account. We still have this on our PC and I feel it's still better then the other security programs. We've had a one other and it didn't stand up to yours. The other one we had had a " game mode" and had to be turned off to play games or it would kick you out mid game. When I learned that you scan in the background I was relieved that a product like that existed. Used since we had Windows XP.

I paid for Web root to protect 5 device's I have one protected and it will not allow me to sign in even though I am using the user name and pass word given. I have e mailed webroot support probably 10 times now explaining the situation and I keep receiving the same automated response.. Come on guys get ur S*£_t together

First of all 4 stars because GUI is outdated. I've read many good reviews but i still not sure it took 2 seconds to scan my device(about 290 apps). About premium this the features that makes me wanna buy premium : Cost Money , Drain Battery :').

I've used all kinds of a/v programs out there and will say that most of them are junk (even the apps with ads) and dont detect viruses, etc like McAfee. Then there's others like Norton (which actually lets viruses into your system while costing you hundreds to "protect" your devices. Lol. ) However this app webroot, has limited features which doesn't scan that much files on your device. I heard webroot was top notch and decided to try it out. I have so far seen nothing that is great about it because of the limited features.

Webroot has decent protection against bugs and viruses. However, syncing the mobile app and the webiste with one account is confusing and when you try to call customer service, no one awnsers.

The Execution shield keeps switching off by itself. Also if I block a website known for malware why do I have to select block every time that site creates a pop up, surely your app can remember my preference and block sites like witchcraft without me having to select block every single time. The reason I installed spysweeper was because of their excellent pc software that I had used for years but this app falls far short of their pc software

This is typically fixed by going into the device Settings > Accessibility and toggling the switch for SecureAnywhere off and then on again. If that doesn’t fix it, reboot the device entirely. Its draining my battery and locking up my phone. Everytime I deactivate it so I can uninstall it, it crashes my phone. So now there is no way to get it out. Once I get it our I will never install it again.

Great for online and other protection in general. Best part, it's free and scans anything you download and blocks known malicus websites. But no optimizer.
