The app is free for all Mobile Money agents. No registration fees. No initial deposit. No fees per transaction. No hidden costs.
2. No need for an internet connection to use the application
The app is intended to be inclusive and takes into account the local context where in some localities outside the big cities the internet connection is sometimes of poor quality or non-existent.
3. No need to dial long USSD codes anymore
No more typing errors and no more money sent to the wrong number. Deposits, withdrawals and transfers are now possible with all mobile operators in seconds via a single interface.
4. Bookeeping and monitoring of commissions and in real time
Mobile Money Agents’ accounting is now done easily, automatically and in real time.
The evolution of the balance is displayed and all commissions are calculated and updated after each transaction automatically.
The displays of an history of all transactions with each operator, always up to date to help the agent monitor the development of her/his activity.
5. Remote e-Money float reload
Thanks to our partnerships with banks and other licensed financial institutions, Mobile Money agents can now reload their e-money fleet remotely via the WeCashUp app without having to travel.
6. Reinforced security
The app systematically encrypts your transaction listings on the smartphone and is protected by several lock codes in addition to your PIN codes to provide you with an enhanced level of security.
Mobile Money outlets handle less cash and at the end of the day, instead of coming home with their cash receipts or in their Mobile Money accounts, they can deposit both at one of our banking partners to limit the risks.
The next day, from the WeCashUp app, they can transfer the money deposited in the bank the day before into their Mobile Money accounts and work peacefully all day long and in complete safety.

1. WeCashUp leverages the Android Accessibility Services API to automate and simplify the dialing and execution of complex manual and time-consuming USSD and SMS-based transactions for innumerate under-served users living with disabilities, vulnerable populations, illiterate users in rural areas and places where there is no internet connection in Africa. We want to make sure that no-one is left behind to maximize our financial inclusion and impact.
2. The app needs your permission to identify which people in your contact list is already using the WeCashUp app and to help you engage in discussions and financial transactions with them in our chat functionnality more easily by collecting and uploading your contacts list information to our servers in background even when the app is closed or not in use.
3. The app needs your permission to read SMS information to secure your sensitive transactions by reinforced 2-factor authentication by receiving SMS with random codes processed to authenticate you. It may also collect, process and upload some of your financial transaction related SMS information to our servers in background when you have an internet connection even when the app is closed or not in use to speed up transaction processing delays.
