The app is alright. I find the database to be too limited and quite frankly I don't always find what I'm searching for. I'll type in a food and have something else pop up entirely. Compared to MyFitnessPal, the database sucks. The app is not that smooth to me and I find the layout of the diary to be a little annoying and kind of cluttered. I think there should be a notes feature so that you can write about certain foods or even exercise. I would like there to be more personalized notifications such as being alerted to update if I haven't logged anything, a water tracker and maybe a mood tracker for that current day. It just needs to be more personalized to keep tracking exciting for me. I find the app to be a little too minimal compared to apps like MFP or even Fitbit.
This app and scanner are really easy to use! I love it for tracking my points!❤ There are a couple of things I would suggest to improve the app though. 1. On Journey, I feel you should only get a blue dot if you are not over your daily points! Currently I could be 7 points over and still get a blue dot. I don't feel rewarded, and I will gain weight if I eat that much:( 2. On Connect, I wish you could click on a picture that someone posts, and be able to zoom in. Currently you are not able to do this. 3. I wish you could like or reply on other people's comments in connect! Very inconvenient.
I love the app but there are a couple of things that can use improvement. I frequently have to sign in because the app signs me out for some reason, and there are often glitches during the sign in process. Also, I would love to be able to remove items from my scanned item list. I use the scanner when shopping to make better choices but I only want the items I actually purchase to be available in the list for future use.
Glad this update finally fixed the weight tracker and added food search within favorites list! Excellent! And good UI change to move scanner to landing page. Thx.
I would love to enjoy this app, but it seems that after a recent update, it is impossible to sign up for the damn thing. The Sign up button takes you to the main page of the website where a login/signup is no where to be found, and when I sign up on my desktop and try to sign in on mobile, it says I'm on their system, but I haven't activated my account. I recieved an email congratulating me for signing up, but there was no link to activate the account. I tried making another account but I ran into the same useless email. I hope this is fixed or I'm moving on to another weight watching app!
A while back I hated using the app because posting food log could only be done one food item at a time, even if I ate the same item multiple times in one day. It took way too long so I uninstalled the app and quit using it. I like to post my meals a week or even a month ahead so if I'm out then I can use my app to find out what my meal for that day is supposed to be according to my diet plan. This new update makes this much more efficient. Very easy and I will definitely keep using it.
