Its a very useful tool but agree with comments of the need to.update to get a succiny database. I love all the recipes i have followed so far and were very tasty even the family approve (husband and small children). Needs some more supportive information and positive thinking strategies. Coaching element seems to be lacking information unless I have not dound it. I love the connect and fitbit connects to track activity.
Have used ww in the past and lost 90 pounds. Due to a health issue I have gained 20 pounds back, I am 4'10 so for me that is a significant weight gain. After being back on the program for 3 weeks I've already lost 10 pounds. It is much different than when I used it 10 years ago, but I feel it is easier to lose the weight. Loving the app and accessibility!
For the amount of money everyone pays WW to use this app, looks like it could be a little more user-friendly. I have used My Fitness Pal app and it is much more food- inclusive. In fact, I am supplementing WW with the MFP app because I can't find all the food choices I want to find in the WW app. I look the food up in MFP, get the nutrition info (because WW does not have that info for it's foods) then plug the numbers into the WW food calculator to get the WW Points. We shouldn't have to do that. Otherwise, it's okay.
So, there is actually a lot I like about this app. My major complaint is when you manually look up a certain food item, you don't really get an official listing much of the time. So I have to figure out if this certain item is 6 points or 11 points. Other than that, the app you really helpful and I love being able to track my point in keep in touch with the community.
I agree for the price we pay it could be a little more user friendly and the restaurants seriously need to be updated and increased. Some of the restaurants I've never even heard of and many of the items on the restaurants you do have are not even available to track which sucks. I thought at first it was because the point value was too high so they left it out but then I saw desserts on other menus that had 60+ points so I'm not sure what's going on. Anyway other than that I love weight watchers, it's the first diet I actually see working and I don't feel starved all the time. So thank you for that.
It's a good start, but there are a lot of improvements that could be made. One really helpful one would be to return to the day/meal after tracking. It seems to always take you back to tracking which makes you think your entry didn't occur. It took me a while to figure it out.
Bug fixes and ongoing improvements.
