The concept of the app is wonderful, and it supposedly pairs with the "The Personalized Diet" book. That being said, the actual operation of the app is utterly abysmal! It lists meals on incorrect dates, the meal selection is vague, and there are a litany of other inaccuracies/questionable areas pertaining to meal input. Avoid this app like the plague until it is updated and streamlined.
This app is supposed to be used with The Personalized Diet Plan. Your supposed to enter what you eat and then how you respond to it with your glucose levels. I haven't been able to record a single food or meal cause it's not listed and there's no option to add it. I'm so disappointed.
I like the philosophy of the authors, but this app needs some improvements to make it easier to use and encourage adoption. There is no way to edit dates if you make a mistake on a past entry, entries show up on the wrong days, there is no way to change units if all your readings are done in mmol/L. Also I tried adding a simple coffee with cream and sugar, instead I got a huge list, non of which oddly seemed to fit this seemlingly simple choice. You should be able to easily enter in seperate components rather than try to match your meal to a mindboggling big list of variations of the second thing. Also the book mentioned the app will display a list of your foods and recommendations - none of which I see. If they are supposed to show up later at some point, then some feedback would be nice telling me when they will appear.
No instructions on how to use. Tried to set up profile and all I got was error try again.
I can't enter my meals. I keep getting error. Too time consuming.
Too difficult to use. I use another food tracking app and thought I could use this just to track glucose levels but those options are greyed out. Dumping it.
