Better than their website. At least the app sends money. (tried every combination on the website) Only three stars because it's incredibly clunky, has all kinds of ads, and occasionally tells me my session timed out yet it works fine. Very confusing. Hopefully they put more time into developing it. - April 2025

Came back after 6 years, very happy with the instant (and free!) transfer after being burned by Remitly several times. Thanks WU! 😎💸 EDIT: Everything functions properly as usual, but, I have to remove 1 star because the app is just so clunky, lots of delay between actions and menus. You need to have your team look into optimizing the UI and making operations smoother.

Complete thrash! First, the app assumes I am the US. I'm not and no way to change it. Even if you uninstall and reinstall it still assumes you are in the US because of the email address stored at WU from the initial install. No way to get rid of the email address stored at WU. So you try and start over WU sends a verification code to your email but when you change screens to get the verification code the app starts over so now you need a new verification code. Essentially a loop with no escape
