About this app

WeWash has started a revolution in communal laundry washing! Unnecessary trips to the laundry room; collection of coins and washing tokens; and uncertainty about when exactly your laundry is done are things of the past. Thanks to WeWash doing your laundry is so much easier:

• Receive notifications about the state of your laundry.

In detail:

Reserve washing machines and dryers for free
With our app, you can check whether there are any washing machines or dryers currently in use in your laundry room; when not in use, you can reserve them for free – directly from your sofa, when on the go, or from anywhere you choose. If there currently is no machine available … Not a problem! Enter our virtual waiting queue and save your spot in line to automatically getting the next machine when it becomes available! We will notify you as soon as your appliance is waiting for you.

Cashless payment
No more collecting special coins or buying tokens! With WeWash, you can pay for your washing and drying conveniently directly via the app. You can choose from a wide range of international payment options such as credit card, Apple Pay, PayPal and many more. Keep track of the costs with our simple, GDPR compliant and easy to understand invoicing.

Always stay up to date
You will receive regular updates on the state of your laundry via push notifications: Whether your position in the waiting queue changes; your laundry cycle has started successfully; or your laundry is now ready for pick up: You will enjoy full transparency about your reservations, pick up times, and costs.

Free customer support and help center directly within the app
No matter what questions you might have, our customer support is always there for you. We offer you several self-help options and a help center which allows you to contact us conveniently and directly within the app

The WeWash app is available in several languages – you can change the language at any time in the profile settings.

Ratings and reviews

Conceptually, it just doesn't work. I can wait two hours in a queue to be allocated a machine - but it doesn't wait for the machine to be emptied, you can't use it, and your reservation expires so you have to queue again. I have lost entire evenings and days of my life waiting to do laundry when I can literally see empty machines in the room with me. It just isn't good enough. The advice of 'just book all the machines' is insane, if everyone is doing that, the queue just explodes in size.

Doesn't allow you to choose which washer or drier you would like. For example, if someone leaves their close in Washer 1 for 2 hours, you can't choose Washer 2 when you book. It'll just assign you Washer 1. Poor app design makes it more difficult than it should be, and it's easy to accidentally book a machine that you cannot use, thus wasting money. I've contacted support about this but definitely an issue that needs fixing to make it more frustration free.

If you see a machine with We Wash, go to a different laundromat. It will be faster and much less painful. The location data is unnecessary and could be replaced with codes on the machines. There are no instructions on how to use the machines. The app does not tell you how long is left on your cycle. And clearly We wash has no interest in actually improving their services as people have been giving the same feedback for years and my experience is the same. AVOID

What’s new

We are always working on making sure that with every update WeWash runs even smoother on your smartphone. The new version includes stability improvements. Which means that you can keep on washing and drying your laundry via our app, while we make sure that it’s fun!
