Its a great app for checking your accounts but they have a ton of work to do when it comes to usability. Why can't I use my fingerprint scanner or my pin # to unlock the app? Why do I have to create ANOTHER password and always type in my username BECAUSE IT NEVER SAVES IT? If I need to check my account quickly, I want to be able to check it quickly! Also what's up with having to log in online to use most features? Kinda defeats the purpose of having an app when you have to go online for your account # or routing number.... Just saying
I have a lot of issues taking pictures of the checks to deposit them. It used to be simple and great. Since the update the app takes a picture immediately after it opens regardless if the check is centered or focused. It's very frustrating, I wish it would let me take the picture myself. I usually have to retake the picture 15 times before the app starts working properly and waits to take the picture when the check is focused.
10 years ago, my first union app was able to show the running balance on my account as i scheduled bills, and was able to forecast regular deposits. WF is struggling to show even scheduled transactions. sad. seems to have trouble entering pay amount, cursor goes to wrong position. must make payments in the correct order, or the fields reset to default values.
Its accessing Precise-GPS-Location, user's ContactList/PhoneBook, 3rd-party internet servers: Akamai, etc !! in our opinion these activities r NOT Respectful Of User's Privacy-Rights. User can copy-paste specific contact info, when User needs. Phone's IP-Adrs auto-discloses approximate Location & suffice to receive related services. Please use 256bit encryption. Other aspects of App are Good & USEFUL, it DOES NOT COLLECT/ACCESS browser-history/app-list/log, v-GOOD :) When app's dev/WellsFargo wil improv & respect privacy-rights, then we wil updat this review.
Why does the app need access to my pictures, friends and phonne numbers? App is ok, the corporate (mis)management is ridiculous. Fees are now appearing which makes me want to look for another bank. I see why there is a pending lawsuit.
App works pretty good most of the time. However lately I have a problem where the cursor continually jumps to the username field whenever I am trying to enter my password.
