Review from A Google User
What can I say... Good if you need to know your balance and transfer money. Not too advanced and may need to uninstall and re install as it does not recognizes your passwords.
Its a great app for checking your accounts but they have a ton of work to do when it comes to usability. Why can't I use my fingerprint scanner or my pin # to unlock the app? Why do I have to create ANOTHER password and always type in my username BECAUSE IT NEVER SAVES IT? If I need to check my account quickly, I want to be able to check it quickly! Also what's up with having to log in online to use most features? Kinda defeats the purpose of having an app when you have to go online for your account # or routing number.... Just saying
The $2,500 maximum per-check deposit amount is way too small. Ally bank allows $50,000. Equally bad is the monthly limit of $5,000. It is simply too small for practical use. So long, I'm off to Ally and Capital One for my serious banking needs. They offer better service, better interest rates, and lower fees all around.
Have been with Wells Fargo for years! I use this app almost everyday and I love the convenience of it! I also love the automatic budget option within this app....it allows you to see how you spend your money and help you stick with any budget you may need at the moment. WILL GIVE IT 5 STARS WHEN YOU FIX THE BUGS!!! APP IS TERRIBLE NOW!
I have been using this app for approx. 3+yrs and I could not ask for anything better for an app. After I make a purchase with my debit card it sends me a text on the purchase within 1/min flat. No other bank can even come close to this. If they would go higher on their star rating I would easily give them a 10. Thanks; Wells Fargo Steve Hannah Retired NREMT-Paramedic
I have a lot of issues taking pictures of the checks to deposit them. It used to be simple and great. Since the update the app takes a picture immediately after it opens regardless if the check is centered or focused. It's very frustrating, I wish it would let me take the picture myself. I usually have to retake the picture 15 times before the app starts working properly and waits to take the picture when the check is focused.
Thanks to Android Webview, I can no longer access any banking information on my Wells Fargo app. Each time I try to log in to the account, a message says to update Webview. When I try to push the update Webview button, a Retry, Sign in to your Google Account error message appears. Uninstalling the Wells app did not help; I was unable to even access the Webview App in the Play Store because there's an error message there, too. I've been using the app for years, and now it's worthless.
Coming Soon! Android Fingerprint
