Review from A Google User
Mobile deposits coming! OK, the user interface is clunky at best. My main interest in the App is to make mobile deposits, which are currently only enabled for a few states (based on where the account was opened). I dove deep into the WF phone support and discovered that mobile deposits are being field tested now and are due for a national roll out to all states in November-December 2012. If you have a WF Advisors investment account, mobile deposits will be possible only to your Command account that has check writing capability, not all investment accounts. When the update the app for mobile deposits, I really hope they'll improve the UI too.
This app has been keep change the account, trick you think you got money when you deposit. It take 5 or 10 days to show up in account. I will not go back to this service until I pay it off they are rip off pretty much. Very unprofessional in some building and the calls from WF. Im over it will place somewhere my money to other place than this service.
The mobile site doesn't give you the option of balances with transactions when they actually post not when the purchase was made or money deposited, so it's difficult to gauge what your balance was at certain times of purchase. I don't, and I believe that most people today don't use a check balancing book, so my point is that it would be nice if the app operated more like the website. Wellsfargo also doesn't give you the option of visiting the website from your phone.
Why does this app need access to my contacts including who I am communicating with and how frequently? It's an invasion of privacy! The app seems to work well, but I'm giving it a 2 because of this issue.
It looks easy to use but doesn't give you ability to do simple things like look at your account numbers to set up transfers. Also doesn't allow you to connect to customer service directly anymore.
It serves all my banking needs instantly. Didn't think it would be so useful but I find myself using it more and more. Good job Wells Fargo!!
I got this to send money to daughter but wont let me send to her credit card. Says she needs bank account. I did everything, except this, from website fine, no app was needed. Wasted last 30 mins finding this out !
