Good game This game has some awesome potential and in its current state is still more enjoyable than most phone games. I am fascinated by it overall and wish there was more content to it. I wish the game was truly random in the islands you visit but they really are not, only the order in which you can visit them and you may or may not actually get to visit them all in a play through. I hope for future content updates, or a sequel is made, to fully realize the potential this game is. Buy it!
Promising but Looked quite promising and with a lot to offer but it feels arcade and beta. 2 bugs in my first run: Queen of the maggots invincible and couldn't get skills. Cons: Repetition, dull exploration mode, dull village mode.
WARNING - Sleeper Hit! Think Diablo meets Turok! An awesome 'rogue-like' with a twist! Mate yourself to a genealogical safety net - your offspring become your path to success and longevity in this wonderful 16bit isometeric RPG! Survive in a prehistoric world where no IAP exsits, upgrade your stats and search the Eastern sea with it's procedurally generated islands. Juicy GFX, atmospheric SFX and music make this THE ARPG mobile game to have bar none!!!
Good Good but need improvment. After update. I will update my review. This will be best game ever. So dev. Make it perfect. Good luck
Good non linear action RPG. PROS: Awesome pixel art and animation. Atmospheric soundtrack. Attacks have weight and impact. Bizarre enemies and items. Bleak, dismal and other worldly storyline. Not for the feint of heart. CONS: Controls are not too efficient. Specifically pointing your character in the desired direction to attack or dodge. Not a gamebreaker but a floating virtual pad or better yet controller support would be welcome. It's worth the purchase. No IAPs. I hope to see some added content in an update, or a sequel.
Inconsistent and Unrewarding. Had I reviewed this game after my first 20-30 minutes of play I'd probably give it 4-5 stars; the art is great, the idea is unique, and the potential was exciting. The game just didn't deliver on the progression, I only found one totem in over two hours of play and my weapons were no match for the increasingly difficult enemies. Hit range is inconsistent and your only hope is to exploit odd hit ranges so enemies never have a chance of hitting you. In two hours I was only able to afford one skill, which I purchased on accident because there is no confirmation, and it was totally useless. The game seems like it could have been so much more; save yourself the frustration.
- Continued tweaking on island progression bug
- Improved Battlecry's effect on enemies upon hit
- Island progression bug fixed (addressed reports of being able to move raft on top of islands)
- Low graphics setting more effective
- Queen of the Maggots battle tweaked
- Joystick area increased for easier control
