Recently I've logged in my WhatsApp account from "Linked device" to "Main device" and I am facing major problems like, I'm unable to receive messages from people and also unable to check if my message that I sent to the person, is seen by them or not, because it's showing my a symbol like "-" and this is not for single chat, it's also happening for the groups also, and I'm receiving the messages very late in time with the duration of 24-32 hour and I'm not even able to update WhatsApp. Reply it.

it was a mistake that I set an always translate option, which I could not undo. I tried every possible way. I contacted customer support too, they haven't figured out the options available to the user. having an exact option to undo things, can't go with, try similar options that you find, together. this bug needs to be fixed ASAP. creates a lot of miscommunication during chats.

Problem still exist! No one care. Even what's app team have no concern over education. The “Start chatting” suggestion is irritating and uncomfortable to use. Please provide a setting to turn it ON/OFF. Additionally, for school use, better group privacy controls are needed. Kindly add an option to hide contact numbers within groups to protect user privacy and prevent misuse.

What’s new

• You can now add a custom Member Tag to let everyone know your role in the group chat. Open the group chat, tap the group name and scroll to the members list. Tap Add member tag and type in your role to show people who you are or how you’re known in this group.
