Generally I like WhatsApp. However I had an issue recently and the help centre suggested to reinstall. Now it won't load my whatsapp backup file. Their support actively prevents you from speaking to a human. I followed help centre and the AI advise - nothing. I tried to comment on Instagram - nothing. I've emailed and contacted via online request - it refuses to connect or refer you to a human. I've lost over 8 years of my conversations and you can't speak to anyone.

Hi dev team, can you please put an edit message icon (a pen or something similar) in an easily accessible spot? It's currently under the three-dots menu. Giving an option to edit by sliding on the message would be convenient for one-handed operation. Phones are getting bigger, but simple needs remain the same.

1 star as I can not set lower got a new phone, tried to get all history moved accross to the new phone and... lost everything, even on the 'old' device and the link with my Windows device I had no trouble whatsoever with any other apps, including ones which do not really provide transfer capability; this is the only app I could not and worse lost all history

• You can now choose to share recent group history with new members when you add them to a group
• Group calls now include the ability to transfer calls between mobile and desktop, add a waiting room for call links, and pin a participant to a bigger tile.
