Not bad but some issues in Evernote app (one year later) Punctuation and capitalization issues in Evernote and starting to see same in other apps. (One month later: still using and it's a good keyboard. Don't be afraid to expand it if speed and accuracy are paramount or using esoteric terminology - which I did NOT for this edit.) Not bad. I assume most reviewers are giving feedback in same day as purchasing. I say give it time and it will become easier.
Liked the concept The concept is good and it works for the most part. As the keyboard is minimalistic, we get to see a lot more of the screen than other normal keyboards. The problems arise the few times it doesn't work. For example, some words it just doesn't figure out and the double right gesture for a period doesn't always work. As the auto correct needs to figure out words from a very minimal keyboard, the lack of accuracy is expected. Also, typing part of a word doesn't work - this keyboard shows the closest whole word
Incredible Keyboard! I really appreciate the way Minuum speeds up my typing on mobile devices. It takes a few hours to adjust to, but then it feels really natural and requires no thought at all. It's honestly amazing how good the auto correct is! Be sure to try the free version first as it's a very polarizing style, you'll either love it or hate it.
Updated: still love this keyboard. Incredibly intuitive and easy to use. Once you get over the learning curve you'll never want to go back to a full keyboard. The auto correct quickly learns how you type and makes typing even faster. Can't recommend this enough. The only downside is that other people get confused when they try to use it phone.
I like minuum, but the large keyboard has direct input issues, for example in termux. I expect that the characters I type are directly input, but they actually linger in the word suggestions until I manually confirm. that's fine with the minimal version of the keyboard, but not when it's in its expanded size. please at least add an option for this in the menu! thanks!
The only keyboard I enjoy using Minuum has saved me from screen-hogging keyboards, given how well the predictive text and autocorrect work, and how easily I can switch to a regular size keyboard is something I can't live without. Minuum has long been my keyboard of choice and will remain for a long time to come.
