Updated: still sucks! I miss Tagg. The new app they forced on us is a terrible replacement for the old app. Looks like they forced the migration to meet some market goal, even though it doesn't work. I wonder if it's to late for a refund from Amazon
Very disappointing. My husband no longer gets a text msg, and constantly get notifications in what my dog is doing. All I need to know is when she's out. Setting zone is almost possible. Dislike and not running like original app. Also noticed similar apps involve fitness. I didn't realize my dog needed a fitness coach. TRACKING IS WHAT I PURCHASED this is sadly ridiculous. An older version of this app is mixed in with the newest update. Bogus score due to this. Also refuse to credit when their service is out this has been happening a lot.
It is a good concept but many times I will receive alerts that my dog is out of it's area while she is sitting right next to me or the device is on the charger. Even when she has gotten lose and the device detects she is gone the update interval isn't fast enough to allow real time tracking.
I feel deceived because you don't know that there is a mobthly/annual subscription plan that the customer MUST purchase before you are able to use the device. Also, I was not able to zone in the whistle parameters to just my yard. It's proximity is too large. I will be returning the device to Best Buy
Best app ever, reasonable fees to keep your pet safe. My deaf American bull dog can't be called back home if she gets out. This app tracks her in real time. Those complaining are not grasping the function of the app or they have crappy outdated phones. Less than $7 a month for priceless peace of mind. Skip a overpriced coffee and protect your pet.
Works well, but it's annoying that to get notified of the dog escaping also requires getting notified of trivial events like exercise reports. I only want notifications for important events.
