I like the WHOOP device and app overall. It provides good feedback and an understanding of how my daily activities like work and sleep affect my fitness performance. I really like the sleep coach feature to help adjust my sleep schedule so I can meet my needs. However, there seem to be features missing that I read about in iOS reviews, such as user input post activity or sleep. I am not sure why this is, but based on what I've read, the Android version seems to be stripped down. For my purposes, as a recreational user, it does not make a huge difference. But for a more serious athlete, these missing features could be valuable.
The app does not have all the features that are available for the IPhone iOS. Team training, daily statistics, and user input after training are not available on Android. In other words, it's still in development. I would have liked for them to make this clear before spending $500.
I have the same issue as Anton. Wasn't made clear then (or now) that the Android app is missing several features included with the iOS app. no swipe-to-sync, no GPS tracking for runs/cycling when successfully Bluetooth-connected to cell on hand, no post-Recovery questions/clarifications to help hone the number, no user statistics entry available. All of these are on iOS. It would have been nice to know in advance we were getting Android BETA version of this product at such a high price. No guarantees these ever get pushed to Android is the real problem. Caveat emptor if these sound like things you read in the iOS reviews that you want or need. The stripped down version we did get works great, just didn't expect to find it stripped down.
