About this app

This App helps find and identify plants. When you give the App information about a plant, such as its location, flower color and the time of year, the App will quickly show you which plants match your selections.

The App includes 3,222 species of plants found in Idaho. Overall, 1,916 are "Wildflowers", 220 are shrubs, 101 are broadleaf trees, 26 are conifers, 21 are vines, 8 are cactus, 445 are grass-like, 80 are fern-like, 215 are moss-like, and 278 are lichen.

This app is incredibly useful for botanical field work. I tend not to expect much out of apps for this sort of thing, but it worked great, had range maps and a lot of useful info on individual species. Some pics could stand to be higher resolution, but this isn't a huge detriment.

This is a great tool, with the ability to select color, habitat, petal and leaf formations, location, and elevation to quickly narrow the search. Can also search by name or family. Expansive data base, great photos.

I found the link on your website. I have tried to install this app twice and it seems to fail at around 30 some percent. will try again later. Thanks for all efforts.

Cindy -- Glad you found this app. Google collects a portion of the money from the sale of each app. But they get nothing from free apps like this one. It is possible that Google makes it easier for people to find the apps that cost money.
