Works great on 2.2!! So far so good! I'm am using an LG Optimus S. I only hope the developer will update for 2.3. I previously purchased "Lock Delay" and that developer decided he didn't want to update his software from 2.1 to 2.2. I wish Google would just build this into the OS. Thank You Mr. Stoker.
Great Especially For Samsung Users My Galaxy S2 prevented me using another app called Facelock Pro, - as there was no way of defeating the phone requiring a pin number. But this app can delay the pin number screen appearing for up to 6 hours. So, I was finally able to get Facelock Pro to work as the unlocker every time I want to open the screen, by pressing the home button or the on/of side power button. And by the way Facelock Pro when "trained" recognizes you instantly, even in poor light. So, get both these apps, as they work together and are great. Don't be surprised that when you first turn on your phone each day (or after 6 hours) you will encounter the numeric lock one time only.
Smart Buy I love the convenience that this app brings, it is especially helpful when actively texting. However I found out that sometimes when the set delay time is up, and the pin/password is re-armed, the lockscreen password entering field is blank and I have to lock then unlock my phone for the password input field to reappear. Other than that small inconvenience, I highly recommend this app, especially if you have fully encrypted your phone. - LG Nexus 4
Only locks on second screen on Hi, sorry to say, but after the timeout, when I push the power button, the screen comes on AND is unlocked, the phone is not protected. Then when I press power again immediately to switch off the screen, then press power again to switch the screen on a second time - that's when the screen comes on and is actually locked. Something clearly not working here. This even happens after I switch off the screen by pressing "Lock Now" in your app itself. I would ask for a refund, but I'd like it a LOT more if you could fix this for me, pretty please! Once it works properly, I'll happily make this a five star review. Thanks for your work! Samsung Galaxy S2 Android 4.1.2. Cheers, M. PS: Has the vulnerability directly after booting the phone, as mentioned by someone else, been addressed?
This is the app you are looking for! I was tearing my hair out having to put my pin in every time the screen went to sleep. This app lets the screen go to sleep, but doesn't lock the screen until the time you specify. Thanks for a great app.
auto-correct and no recovery very clean app. does its job. however when using the full keyboard for passwords, the autocorrect feature remains active. So you may end up entering a password you don't know about. no way to recover it(no Google ID bypass feature)
* Added possibility to create a shortcut on your home screen to execute "lock now" feature.
* The phone is now also locked at boot
