Rally: Voice Notes on Race Day

In-app purchases

About this app

Rally makes race day more meaningful. Friends and family choose a mile and record short voice notes for someone running a marathon, half marathon, 10K, or 5K. On race day, the runner hears those messages at the exact moment they need encouragement most.

Whether you are preparing for your first race or your fifteenth, Rally brings the people who support you closer to your journey.

How It Works

• Choose an event
Select your upcoming marathon, half, 10K, or 5K from races happening around the world.

• Share your unique link
Send your Rally link to friends and family so they can leave you voice notes.

• Friends pick a mile and record
Each person chooses a mile marker and records a personal encouragement message.

• Run with Rally on race day
As you pass each mile, the app plays your saved voice notes automatically.

• Stay motivated throughout the course
Rally gives you the emotional boost you need right when you need it.

Perfect for Every Runner

Rally is built for:
• Marathoners
• Half marathoners
• 10K and 5K runners
• First-time racers
• Friends and families supporting someone on race day

Privacy and Safety

Rally only uses your location during an active race to detect mile markers and play your saved voice notes. Location is not used for advertising or shared with third parties. You can turn off location access anytime in your device settings.

Ratings and reviews

I love the idea of this. However, I was left disappointed. My partner had his first half marathon, and we downloaded the app, signed up and selected his race and sent the links out. The whole race i was able to record messages, and they were telling me they were sending and will be played at each km selected. But when my partner crossed the finish line, he told me he didn't get any of them. After playing with the app, turns out you need a subscription... would have been nice to know prior...

the messages did not play during the race in spite of location access. had to pay to even access the notes after the race. it also allowed two people to record voice notes at the same mile and only one of them played. really bad experience considering it didn't do the one thing it was supposed to.

Rally made me a custom run for my birthday, and I could download the voice notes after! it's a really simple app to use and it was such an awesome idea, I loved hearing my friends voices at every kilometer. Highly recommend this app!
