The Somfy myLink™ app provides simplified control of RTS motorized blinds, shades, draperies, awnings, rolling shutters and screens from the convenience of your Android phone for convenient sunlight management anytime, anywhere. With the Somfy myLink app, you can:

-Link with Amazon Alexa for convenient voice control
- Control up to 16 channels of RTS motorized products per myLink WiFi to RTS Interface
-Integration of RTS products with Crestron, Control4, Savant and control systems.
- Create Scenes for easy control of multiple motorized products
- Create Schedules to automatically activate your motorized products at a certain time of day, day of the week, or by sunrise and sunset
- Add more myLink WiFi to RTS Interfaces for multiple zone control
- Control your RTS motorized proucts both at home and away
- Easily share access with other users
-Demo mode: includes an integrated demo mode for users to experience the app before purchasing the myLink interface
-Tablet view includes drag & drop scene and schedule creation, quick access toolbar and dashboard-style home screen

The Somfy myLink app requires at least one Somfy myLink WiFi to RTS Interface and existing RTS motorized product(s) with at least one programmed RTS hand-held, in-wall or table top control.

One of the worst app to use and setup is horrible and confusing. It seems it wants me to reset the whole remote configuration with the awning, which I dont want to mess with. It has a QR code on the back of the remote, why can't this app just scan the QR to auto sync for setup? All my Nest devices do this easily. They need to hire a real developer and build a new app from scratch as this is useless. I am uninstalling this app next.

Worst experience with a smart system I've ever encountered. This is legitimately the worst app I've seen. Their UI is confusing, the set up process is a nightmare, and its slow. I've had a MyLink for a few months but I recently added a new motor. I tired to add it, but I couldnt. So I tried resetting the system and now I cannot even connect it to the wi-fi. Worst part is, I work with shades myself and have had to install several of these before and they all have so many issues. Even Tahoma

This app is difficult to use, takes a very long time to setup, with outdated UI and very poor UX. With a background in software engineering, if its hard for me, I imagine most people just give up and use their physical remotes. I should not need to do the entire setup process for every single window covering in my house, which takes about 10 minutes once you get the hang of it. With 16 windows I need to add spending over 2.5 hours (and that is best case scenario) to just have the ability to control each window individually is laughable that Somfy believed this app would be a widely adopted solution. I would prefer swan diving off my roof and experiencing the pain that comes from those injuries, than have to program my home with this app. Once completing that chore, you then get to go through yet another "feature" where you setup each room or "scene" so you can control a set of windows instead of one at a time. This is the most blatantly display of engineering laziness I have seen in an app peddled as a solution for your "Smart Home" ever. Cant wait for an app, most likely already in development that some 12 year old is building, that disrupts this niche market, and makes this solution obsolete. TLDR: If you enjoy being frustrated, interacting with unintuitive and inefficient apps that actually make it harder and more difficult to enjoy your life you have found the holy grail.
