Winix Smart App requires permissions to the following services:
Even if you do not allow optional permissions, you can still use the service limitedly.
- Location (optional) : Needed to access your current outdoor air quality location.
- Call (optional) : Needed to call customer service.
(The Winix Samrt app never performs other functions using the above permission.)

My primary issue with this app is it unregisters any products you have associated with it after some period of time if you don't use the app. Super frustrating and inconvenient, forces the customer to have to repeat the process of reconnecting the device to their network. Not really sure what the software designers had in mind when this feature was incorporated. Cannot think of any other web enabled devices that do this.
