It's okay, but there are some major "user experience" category annoyances. Like most of you, I'm using this to connect to a Wireguard instance running at home to access my home network resources on the go. The problem with this app is that it will enable the VPN tunnel on your phone, even if it doesn't make contact with the remote server. This essentially black-holes all your phone's traffic, cutting it off from all network access. The VPN should NOT be enabled if it can't connect to the servr

If you're having any kind of connection issue while on mobile networks, check for packet fragmentation. Cellular companies use a lower MTU than your home Wi-fi. (This especially applies when transporting TCP over UDP while tethering or using Wi-Fi hotspot.) On another note, I've noticed what seems to be a potential bug. I noticed that ALL permissions are blocked for the app on my Android phone. This is not normal! And, notification permissions are not even present! (S23U)

Same as some other reviewers, the lack of persistent notification showing status is a major deficiency. Especially having no notification of inability to connect, confirmation of successful connection, and clear notification of disconnection leaves you guessing. Opening the app & trying to decipher recent log entries to determine connection status is not acceptable. Two stars at best, largely because it offers no peace of mind that the VPN is connected & working at any given moment.
