Its a great game I love this game being a continuation of the story in the first game, Raven mark Scourge. I suggest for new players to get the first game before playing this so that controls and the story are familiar with you. My only problem is that the rewards are pretty unfair. It costs 7000 silver to start the very first major contracts, but every mission only rewards you 20-30 silver each. Very long process and it gets tedious at times. More unique missions plz. Still a great game.
The game is really well made and has a lot of content, and decent F2P economy. The combat is nice, with lots of units and interesting formation mechanics. Unfortunately, I really don't like simultaneous turns in any game as I feel they add nothing but confusion and uncertainty to the tactics. Had this been classical turn based, it probably would have been one of my favorite games for Android.
So Far, So Good FOUND A GLITCH: when I go to leave the game, it starts back up immediately; for now, I can force close, but I've never seen a game RE-start on its own like that. I like the way units can link up to gain advantages; I haven't seen that one in games before. The initiative values and the way the orders play out at once will take some getting used to.
Fairly Good Overall Some may not like the fact that this paid game has currency IAPs—which can make progression slow without purchasing. Not to mention being online only and the servers being slow in validating moves.
Is it me? Made an account easily. Logged in, started the first mission, and the game looks great already. There's a problem, though... MY UNIT WON'T MOVE AT ALL! I can't progress. Period. Will happily change this review if I can get the game to work properly.
Good but... I would rate this 5 stars if it was true turn based. Having all the units move everywhere at once doesn't always work. The AI always manages to move into the right spot, no matter how far down the initiative ladder they are
