Tapstack introduces the Tap - an entirely new way to be in touch with family and friends. A Tap is a photo or video of up to ten seconds that’s simultaneously shot and sent in one simple action: tapping the face of one of your friends. With no filters or previews, Taps are a spontaneous, authentic, and fun way to share - and save - real moments from your daily life with the people you feel closest to.
When you think of a friend or family member, share a moment with them by sending a quick Tap. Here’s how it works:
TAP TO SEND A PHOTO - Tap the face of one of your friends, and an image is simultaneously shot and sent their way in one quick gesture.
HOLD TO SEND A VIDEO - Hold your finger down, instead of just tapping, and a video of up to 10 seconds is recorded and sent, right when you lift your finger up.
SAVE WHAT YOU LOVE - Save your favorite Taps to an album shared between you and the sender.
SHARE WITH GROUPS - Send Taps to individuals or small groups - like your immediate family, co-workers, roommates, or best friends.
GET CREATIVE - Add text, drawings or emoji to your Taps before you send ‘em.

Did Taptalk get bought? Where did the "don't send" feature go? Also, it took me sometime to intuitively assume to swipe in order to progress photos. There's potential, but the change is not subtle.

Everything snap chat is not Sure everyone has the other and no one has this. But I like that way. No real spam or popularity meter. Something you actually use with friends you have.

With this app, to send a picture I only have to: (a) open taptalk; (b) tap to take and send a photo to a friend! It's so much faster and easier to keep in touch with family and friends now

Give your friends/family a quick glimpse into your life! Edited: I now have no problems with this app, and love it for a quick, lightweight, keeping in touch tool for my family. Also, while I did have a problem with one version, the company had a quick response and fixed my problem right away!

Could you please update the app to the latest version v0.37.4 and check if it fixes your issue. Let us know on feedback@taptalk.com if you still experience this issue. This is a fun app and well executed New group feature is great, but as a result we now need more control over notifications. Let me disable notifications for group messages please.

Thanks Benjamin! I will pass your feedback to the team. Simplicity is the key It's all about sharing the moment in one click. Others mention texting with emotions but I would say it's about catching the moment and adding some text. To that, road map wishlist from me: 1. Save the messages/pictures option controlled by only the sender. 2. Text mode interface focusing on traditional message UX with picture to send (emotion your text)

Could you please restart your phone. And if it repeats send us logs from the app (tap menu button, then tap "Ask a Question"). So suddenly I need to put my phone number or I can't even see the taptalks I received? That's just mean.

Hi Clément. Thanks for telling us about this issue. We decided to switch to a phone based accounts and get rid of emails and usernames to simplify users lives. But you are totally right that this transition was too rough. So to fix it for users who didn't update yet, we added a skip button. Update will become available in a couple of hours. Not getting 4 digit code Installed the app. Have been waiting for the 4 digit code for a while now. Don't think its getting delivered! Any work around?

Hi Grant. Thanks for reporting. It was happening on some devices. We fixed the issue. Will be included in the next release. wont axept my phone number in set up when trying to set up the app it asks for email which works fine but when i get asked for my number it says please enter valid number which i was doing to no sucess have been trying for 2 days. :-\:-(
