It could be really good, if they allowed users to import workouts from real running watches, not just from their own trackers. If they allowed this it would probably be my one-stop health app. Now... I have the scale but it's more or less impossible to use the app or it's programs with just that. I don't want to manually add every little thing I do when that data is freely available for Nokia to import.
Been weighing myself every morning around the same time for a week and it's been registered within the app, yet only twice within the better health program you can follow and it's making me start this week over. It's one of those simple things that should just be working....
Update, Jan 2018: Once again, the app is dropping workouts. Data doesn't seem to be transferring from the watch and workout times are always wrong. The app recently underwent a massive redesign. It is no longer syncing workout data from my withings steel HR. I've lost every workout I've tried to log so far. Nokia took an acceptable app and turned in into a non-functional, Apple-UI inspired junkheap. Update: After fixing the issue once in the past, the app is now once again dropping all workout data. Fix your app, Nokia.
Bought a Nokia Steel HR and checked that my Huawei P10 Lite being on the supported list they don't sync! Apparently there is a Bluetooth issue which will be fixed at some point in my life... Not really good enough when the watch costs £160..the phone has now been removed from the supported list. Now have a different phone and the watch syncs. The App is not as good as Fitbits App in terms of the info displayed. It would be nice to include Gps in the App so that it could map your activity.
Great improvement to be able to see trends in actual kg now rather than percent. It makes it a whole lot easier to see what is varying. For instance, if I gain muscle but no extra fat, I can see that now. Before, the fat percent would have dipped. Similarly, I can now see if exercise is increasing my bone mass. Thanks for that, Nokia/Withings!
So I know I move around when I sleep. But apparently this is now being recorded as activity. As the last week I have to delete 10-15 activities (ranging from 9-20 seconds) from when I'm sleeping. My question is why is this suddenly happening, and also if it's being recorded as activity why do I have zero steps when I wake up? Update: Now the app is recording everything I do as activity, so I have over a hundred instances of activity in my feed, all of them less than a minute long. And it still measures zero steps. When I try to delete these activities the app crashes. This needs to be fixed.
