App don't sync steps with Google Fit but weights sync like no problem. Strava support could be nice feature because I have bike computer wich upload rides to strava and I want all activities to one place!? ;) If You bring strava support then I do not need Google Fit support.

I don't like the aesthetics of the new app. The minimalism with lots of white space is nice on a big screen, but on a phone, I'd rather keep it condensed to have a clear reference without tons of scrolling. However, it does seem to pair better with my devices than the old app, which was infuriatingly inconsistent in that regard. I'll update my review after some more experience.

The app splits all % measurements into different graphs and shows weight in a separate screen. It would be good to have a single chart showing % stats and show weigh, as a consolidated view. Body fat is the most important measurement for me, and is 5% more than my Dr and BUPA. Lacking connection to Garmin Connect...

Really dislike the new interface. Find it hard to navigate to the old tabs I found useful, such as the leaderboard and the weekly view of steps/sleep. New style and colour scheme is irritating and far less user-friendly. I've barely used the app since the change was forced. Definitely considering switching fitness watch as a result, which is such a shame as I used to love this product.

Another case of the actual product exceeding the capability of the software. Slow to sync, massive battery drain and I don't even keep location enabled. Why? I know where the hell I have been. I don't touch my phone all day but it's dead and shuts down before my day is over. Really lousy app. Pathetic actually.

7/11 - got the new update. Now I can't even connect to my Aura. Do you even test your software before you push it? Can't access my Aura to change/set my alarm. It's not just an iOS issue. That aside the new app design is terrible and I can even say it at least looks better than the last one. Not off to a great start Nokia. Regretting my investment in the Withing product line right about now.

If you have other updates you would like to see, please do not hesitate to share them with us! Really dislike the new interface. The design of the new Nokia interface is a bit too minimalistic, making information displayed within rather diffuse, than consise. This probably is personal however. The "sleep" program is active for two weeks now, only saying "oops" with no results, or reason why the 14 days of sleep tracking data in not enough to produce any result. Definitely no sleep insights there. Sleep record lenghts should be editable. Cycling never been recognised even after riding over 100 hours in several recorded sessions. Nokia could you please give me some help how to get the sleep program working?
App is in a downward spiral, like my weight should be... The latest update removed all traces of working in landscape on my Samsung tablet. I now have to rotate my head by 90 degrees to view anything. Especially hard with squashed up graphs. Also missing is the optimal reference for pwm, which was there in the old witthings app. Please bring back the functionality of the old app. 1 star until improvements are made.
Nokia Health App and their Body scales lock up your data, making it cumbersome to obtain, if you want easy access to your raw body weight measurements. There is no simple table view of body weight and other measurements. The App doesn't prov an easy csv file export making it difficult to view body weight measurement in a spreadsheet. Nokia locks up OUR BODY WEIGHT MEASUREMENTS DATA, requiring us to create a cloud account to access OUR DATA, which can only be exported buy logging on to Nokia's web site. Again, the App will not give you your raw data to use as you please. Nokia corals your data under their lock and key.
Why has the stupid Nokia bought (or got married) the withings? You can't even catch up the update tech with your phone new phones I was very happy with my withings. Just leave alone Withings to be the best in their class. I am soooo sorry that Withings have any kind of relationship with Nokia.....
7/15 update: I thought there was some progress, but now after the last update, my HR steel won't sync at all. It also quit notifying me of any text messages and phone calls. Basically an overpriced watch with a pedometer. Before Nokia took over the app, I used to love my HR steel. Now I wish I had never purchased it.

We found out the problem with the workout from Steel HR not showing up in the timeline. It's fixed and will be released very shortly!

Best, I like the simplicity of it, as I only need basic information. However, I urgently need it to sync data with Google Fit (or ideally, Very fit pro). At the moment nothing is coming through the Googlefit connection and it's very frustrating. I have followed instructions and activated my Google account in both apps, but it's like a dead line. Please help fix it...the more apps you can sync with, the more likely you will become a forerunner in the market.
EDIT: New update, now app LAGS LIKE HELL on a Snapdragon 835 equipped phone. What the hell. Completely UNUSABLE. Terrible. My Activité Steel STOPPED syncing and i keep getting notifications "remember to sync". The problem is this app does not even connect to my watch anymore! TERRIBLE!!!
I own a steel HR. Both the device and the new Nokia app are terrible! The watch gives very unreliable readings, an the app's interface is horrible. My wife has a Fitbit, and it is miles away better in all aspects!
the sync is really horrible. I wear this and the fitbit. Currently the fitbit has me at 9, 532 steps, the Withings only has me at 7532 and I actually wear the Withings longer. This is very frustrating. This app needs to provide real-time syncing to improve accuracy
I liked the old app. The new updated Nokia HealthMate has some very annoying issues. Can't edit distance for running activities as it does not allow for tenths of miles nor does it allow for data to be saved. Extremly frustrated.
Before the switch to Nokia, workout tracking and sleep tracking was a breeze. Yesterday, my workout didn't show in the app and I had to manually log it. Last night my sleep tracking was split at about 12:30am. The sleep before logged as a nap for Tuesday and the sleep after logged as sleep for Wednesday. I never had that problem before. Looks like Nokia made a few new bugs when making the app prettier. Definitely needs a lot of work still.

Aside from the looks that I don't like anymore, something is wrong with sleep tracking. When I wake up during the night, I check the time, and in the morning it isn't reported correctly.
I preferred the Withings app. It was far more user friendly. Hopefully this can be changed with future updates. Also went on a 20 km cycle route, but the app say I did 0.3 km even though I had my gps/data on. Please fix, as it's important to track.
Update: Goals are still broken, no way to add new or remove duplicate, and best of all there is now no way to contact Nokia directly. Pressing the mail button simply launches their useless help site again. News. Goals are broken (I now have 100s of identical goals - which I cannot edit!!) and the training section is blank.

Best, Very disappointed with the update to Nokia. Sleep tracking has been flawless and now it consistently misses my first 3-4 hours and for example tells me I went to bed like 2 in the morning instead of 22. I can't at a glance see my calorie budget and current steps instead focus is on large ads about features and updates. Calorie count was completely off but now fixed but still really really miss the old app that was 5 stars all the way for me... Please fix this fast!
Absolutely useless. It won't sync reliably. When I reset the watch it still wouldn't sync which meant I couldn't use the watch at all, even for time. After a few days it eventually synced, but a few days after that, it stopped again. Useless! Bring back the withings app!!
The update has messed up the synchronisation between mobile n the watch, now watch is not able to sync with this app. In essence no steps are tracked.
I like the scale and the app. But the app seems very liberal about other people's weights. The biggest and worst example of this is that unassigned weights show up in the app. Why? If guests come over my house and decide to step on the scale I shouldn't be able to then open the app and see how much they weigh. It even shows the date and the time that the weight was taken allowing it to easily be narrowed down to who's it is. This seems very intrusive. I would also like to point out that when selecting "add a family member" it asks me for their personal information like weight and birthday. Why can I not just enter the email address of their existing account and have it send them a push notification to choose to use the scale or not? This makes a lot more sense.
The App is still freezing... I own a 6P which has a vanilla Android installed, should not happen. Especially not for years. I like the products from Withings/Nokia. But if they don't get their act together with the app I'll change to another scale!

Have a nice day. Ever since the switch from withings to Nokia, my watch has not been able to stay consistently synched with the app and my app can only find my watch after I do a factory reset. I am so disappointed and frustrated with this. It worked perfectly under withings. Not worth the investment.
They have been working on it. It syncs again. The design is still the same though. It has been designed with ios in mind. Not android... Makes it a hassle to use....
every week since you changed the withings app my syncing with the pulse ox stops and I have to fabric reset the pulse ox and reinstall this awful app. Thanks for ruining a perfect product
Nokia's "upgrade" has set the app back a long way. I wrote this originally for the recently superseded version, but the comments still stand for the recent update. Too much valuable screen area wasted on fashionable white space, unnecessarily spaced out data meaning it's more difficult to take in an overview of results, loss of useful graphs. For example the blood pressure data is not well presented now. At least it's still talking to my Activite watch and smart body analyser scales. That earns it one star.
Ever since Nokia replaced the Withings app, it's been completely broken. I can't even correctly set the time on my watch and I am back to wearing my old Timex. Even if the fitness tracking is broken, I expect to at least be able to check the time! Update: Heard from customer service. FYI: Dissociate the watch in the Heath mate app, then press the button on the back of the watch 5 times to restore it to factory settings and reinstall it on the app.
It is unfortunate the Withings watch doesn't work directly with Google Fit, because the health mate app took a big step back in terms of usability and functionality when Nokia rewrote and rebranded it. I have to wonder if they even did user testing before their redesign.
Does not connect with Aura. Restart to reset hasn't helped. Every update shows good improvement. Still a good distance to go to match old Withings app. I think Nokia can get there soon.
The latest update broke the pairing between my Active Steel and the Health Mate app on my Nexus 5 completely (old phone, I know). Before the update it at least paired some of the time. Before Nokia it paired on the regular. I am not pleased with Nokia one bit.
The app takes forever to sync with Nokia Watch. I'm talking up to one minute or more. When u select the watch to try a force update it still indicates it's searching for the device even though it's on my wrist and the phone is in my hand. Nokia needs to either update the watch or do something with the app to make it sync faster. At times the app does not pick up the watch at all and a force close is needed so the app can do it which leads to the same issue of waiting forever My device is a Google Pixel.
The new look really feels like a desperate need to make a big change for the sake of rebranding. The functionality is still there and I have not had any issues with devices since the update, I have found that syncing is less frequent but nothing else really. I like some of the new features added, reminders is a neat one. I am not really sure how the personal trainer works as I am a little dubious what it will change and how often it will pester me so looking for some reviews with info about it here. As for the aesthetics, I am REALLY not a fan. before getting withings I used to think "how in the world will withings represent all this data like blood pressure, heart rate, weight, air quality etc in a simple to use app?" but they did it! it was awesome! and the browser view was just as good! Infact I sent a number of emails to them about how awesome it was! I used to show this app to my doctor as it was the easiest way to keep track of my vitals, I went last week and showed them again and the response was "can you not just show me on the app you used to have?" doc agreed that this is not easy to use. (from 5* to 3*) soz guys :(
Apparently they have "fixed" the sync issues with the Steel HR. I'm not seeing it. Syncing is still hit and miss, and and the latest update the step numbers and battery strength are way out. On a plus side and the only reason I give it 2 stars, not 1, is that syncing to my Blood Pressure cuff is reasonably reliable. The interface still misses info Vs the original Withings app, but hopefully this can be addressed. Not a great start Nokia. :(
Galaxy s8+ the app is stuck on the 'update profile' screen. Pressing Save or back just causes the update profile screen to appear again. Even uninstalling and reinstalling the app hasn't helped. This renders the app completely useless to me.
What a complete garbage fire the new app is, removed allot of functionality or hid it away, the new gui is discussing looks like it was designed by a high school student..
So far so good. The firmware update to Nokia go fails with an expected error
App is stuck on the "Your Health Mate App just got better" page, and won't let me actually use it... Update completely broke the app.
