Well, I must be the odd one out here, but the app truly captures everything it says it will, is remarkably well laid out, is easy to use and the partner apps integrate seamlessly. No bugs, no crashes. Galaxy Note 5, latest Android OS. Do wish, however, it had the ability to set timers as does the iPhone version of the app. Perhaps they'll get to it. No complaints. The watch, Sapphire, is a dream. I don't even know I'm wearing it...even when sleeping. Really couldn't say that about the Android Wear watches I had tried and returned.
New version and app still unusable, system timing out before dashboard loads, even using a Moto X force, a very capable hardware. Very frustrated because I bought a steel hr... Hope the Android app gets more attention now under Nokia management.
Application works very well but the push notifications are extremely annoying and if you choose to disable them it messes with the accuracy of the application. Allow me to not receive notifications either on my phone or on email and guarantee a precise consistency of the app and the review will go to 5 stars. For the meantime the annoyance of required notifications on my phone is enough to bring the review down to 2 stars.
Coding of the app has always been haphazard at best. Still has odd rounding errors. Enter xxx.5 (manually or direct from Withings scale) and you might wonder why linked apps show xxx.4 The answer is Withings changes your entry of .5 to .499 Other apps only pick up the first digit. Even this app only displays the first digit outside of manual data entry mode which is where I spotted the answer. Why do they do this? Bad coding is the only answer.
I don't know if it's a battery issue or my app is just not syncing. However I have been annoyed with the unstable syncing of the app with my activite pop, and also more recently the total lack of syncing. My understanding is that the app syncs the time, which isn't happening and therefore my watch is constantly wrong, creating my initial frustration. I replaced the battery approximately 6-8months ago.
Can't say enough bad things about this app. The interface is buggy when it does work, but that's a rarity in itself. For a day or two it will perform, then completely stop forcing an uninstall/ reinstall to get the blood pressure monitor to work at all. Also, don't even think of trying to use it if anyone else in the house has any Bluetooth devices turned on. Never going to work. The awful app has made what could be a pretty reliable pressure monitor into a overpriced piece of garbage.
Good news, your Health Mate app just got better!
– Blood Pressure Monitor owners: You will once again be able to set the wait time between measurements in auto mode.
– Steel HR owners: We made alterations that should improve the connection between the app and your watch.
– When manually adding a weight measurement, the fat mass field was limited to 3 characters... it's all fixed now!
Love the app? Please rate it 5★ on the Play Store 🙂
