About this game

Colonies at War is set in the 19th century during the era of global powers competing to colonise the world. Build your armies, expand your empire, and crush your enemies.

Choose from 29 nations, scout nearby lands, and deploy your forces to conquer territory. Form alliances with friends, wage war against rivals, and strengthen your position through strategy and expansion.

Play the American Civil War, the Crimean War, the Wars in China, Africa, and the Americas.

Build powerful navies to dominate the seas and conquer lands across the seas. Use the combined forces of Infantry, cavalry, and artillery to defeat your enemies. Overrun your enemies' forts and grab their resources, risk it all to become the greatest nation in the world.

Ratings and reviews

When I had an IPhone this was one of my favorite mobile games. While I still enjoy the gameplay greatly and the UI feels more streamlined, the amount of bugs in the game is inexcusable. Extremely high amounts of lag if you keep animations on for enemy nations in longer campaigns, the money system sometimes taking you into the negatives since it says you have more profit then you do, and AI that even on normal will declare war on you right after you paid to become friends. This game is unplayable

I love these games, and seriously hope the developers bring more of them to android as the older releases all have special aspects which make them worth revisiting. one small issue in this game particularly is that you can't attack forts or armies with your navy, which you could in prior entries and make naval warfare more important. This is a small complaint though, and does nothing to take away from my excitement to play a game in this series again!

Plays just as well as the Apple version. Would be nice if you could port some of the other _ at War games to Android too. Good little strategy to pass the time.
