Not as good as... Trickle. I've had Trickle on my iPad and iPod for sometime now. It's great. This version falls down on a few things. The public timeline doesn't load. In fact the only thing that does load is my personal home timeline. That's better than nothing though. Also, with Trickle, I can enter a search using the hash tag and have compatible tweets whizzing across my screen from anywhere around the globe. Very handy for sporting events or news items. There doesn't appear to be a search option with Drip. It looks good, but it's not quite Trickle.
Won't authenticate, crashes. At the very first screen, I went to authenticate and it crashed. After I submitted crash report, the app stayed on the opening screen and did it again. Uninstall.
Nothing but loading Seems the twitter API must have changed I remember trickle had the same problem but eventually recovered in an update. I guess Drip never did whatever the trickle Dev did
Missed a Tweet, Sucks to be You I hope I'm missing something here but the app doesn't appear to allow you to swipe to see a previous tweet. I typically leave my Nexus 7 running all day while I'm working and use Drip as a "ticker" of news, friend comments, etc but if I happen to *just* miss a tweet, I can't swipe to get back to the previous message(s). I use Trickle on iPad and IPhone also and this one feature is the thing keeping me staying on the Nexus
Perfect android alternative to trickle I've been looking for an app like this for months. Thank you for making this a reality. Perfect to have on my desk while I work. <3
Great passive app Have both Drip and Trickle, and they're both great passive twitter apps. A scaled version for tablets would be nice :)
