I have been with Woodforest for two decades now and love the people at my local branch. I love the app for the most part. However, here recently I no longer have the option to log in with biometrics. It would be one thing if the app stored my password, but it doesn't (Understandably so). I'd like to be able to login with the touch of a finger as was previously possible. The app is up to date so idk why it's no longer an option.

update. it is now 2025 and the app is still garbage! when and if you get it open it freezes up at the time. last update was usable than i updated the app few weeks ago and back to trash. no option for biometric finger print opening, lost my history it all erased, it's really just a waste of time i only keep it so i can see my balance and not have to call the number...............trust worthy. App is always crashing or i am locked out. It's not dependable

Love my Woodforest app! It's super easy to use and lays everything out in an easy to understand format. I can lock or unlock my debit cards and set all types of alerts to help curtail unauthorized activity! We have been with Woodforest bank about 10 years now and our local branch is absolutely amazing! The only downside to them is the lack of ATMs outside the bank itself. However for the personalized service we receive I'm ok with that. If your banking anywhere else you're doing it wrong.
