Robosapien X Test the IR output: most cell phone camera's can see IR. Take your cell, put it in video camera mode and point it at the business end of your robo remote. Press a button on the robo remote. You will see light emanating from your remote when viewing through your cell. If you can see the light, then you can test the Robo dongle in the same fashion (using a second cell phone). If you do not see a light coming out of the robo IR dongle, then it isn't sending a signal. my son's robosapien X dongle doesn't work.
Does not work with MiP My kid got a MiP for Christmas. I got it partially because he could use it with a little Samsung tablet he got from a relative. The tablet is newish and it is made for kids but the MiP app does notwork with it. You would think they would at least let you use the basic control, but no, the stupid company forces you to a website to download the MiP app that is incompatable with kids tablets. PLEASE FIX THIS!
Someone should be fired Says on mips box he can be run from android. Clearly he cant. He isnt even on apps list of supported products. So nice christmas disater thanks. Thanks for not letting iphone 4 work or ipad 2. The hardware could have easily run this simple app. Woowee needs new developers that can deliver.
Thankful we have an iPhone. Garbage app with MiP Sad app. Developers shouldn't say it's functional on Google play, because it does not work with Evo LTE. glad we have an iPhone because app works fine there. Please fix this awful android app or remove from mip documentation-not fair that App store is light years better.
No good...very disappointed Takes you back to web site then back to app to tell you not compatible on your device. Needs a big update to keep buyers of MiP robot happy. Very annoying that you assume when buying MiP that there is an app for the children to use with it.
Dongle is mandatory... I have a galaxy S5 with ir blaster, it works with Aircondioners, TVs, receivers anything that requires ir remote it works fine with. Im no developer but would be nice if this app could be tweaked to work with devices that already have ir transmitters built in.
