Awesome idea One of my go-to alarm apps. I especially love the "check if I'm awake" feature: five minutes after you dismiss an alarm, a notification asks if you are actually awake - if you don't tap the notification the alarm will ring again! Also the ability to send a text to an emergency contact if you miss your alarm completely. Only problem is that it's a bit of a memory hog - a widget service is always running, even if you aren't using a widget. Otherwise basically perfect!
Great but WTF ITS 2 AM This alarm has consistently been great for a couple of weeks and it makes sure that I get up and am actually awake. However, last night at 1:30 am I was changing the time of my alarm from 7:30 to 8:30 when it started going off. I hadn't hit save alarm and when I finally got it off (it appeared to be set to the hard difficulty despite my alarm being on medium) the alarm still said 8:30. I set the alarm. But then at 2:14 I was woken up by another alarm. Nexus 5 with the latest version of Android Marshmallow?
Perfect For a year I kept telling myself I would wake up at 5am for a run, that dream became reality 2 weeks ago after loading the app. No more 15 continuous alarms to wake up late. The only thing I would request is to integrate a smart wake up. To disable or skip the following alarm once continuous motion is detected. I say because the back up time to tell me I am absolutely late will blast off after my run while I am showering or getting prepared.
The Best This is the best alarm clock ever. Its easy to use. Its fun, definitely fun. Sometimes a little frustrating, but it makes you get up and it makes sure you are up too. For all of you who have a hard time getting your butt out of bed at the time you set, this is for you. I highly recommend it.
Too many ads The one static banner ad shown on the bottom is fine in order to create revenue. The full page pop up ads after every solved puzzle are not... especially annoying when one just wakes up and has to deal with clicking out of a full page ad. Screw Kiip rewards... They're still full page pop up ads. Also, where's the clock feature? Sure the alarms can be set, but no real time clock? $3.99 is way too much to upgrade just to be able to set your own alarm sound and turn off ads. Try $1.99.
This was working well... This is app is too unreliable now. I think you need some serious fixes for Android 5.0. Totally unreliable - sometimes the alarm just doesn't go off at all
PERMISSIONS: SEND SMS + READ CONTACTS - needed for a new (optional) feature where you can select an emergency person which will receive a text message, if you fail to turn off the alarm after selected time
Version 2.0 - completely redesigned. At the moment set for 5% current users (not new installs). We'll be rolling out the new version for all gradually. If you want to check it out now, you can take part in Beta tests here: http://bit.ly/1cW3quO
v 2.0.12 - bugfixes
