I was so close to returning this unit after reading all of these reviews, but then I found one that suggested it works as long as you read the manual. While the manual does lack some clarity, the operation could not be easier. You cannot control the unit under water, but if you set up the pool type and tell it what service is required (floor, floor and walls, etc) it works. Press the power button, place in the pool before 3 minutes is up and it will start cleaning. Simple and Works.

The app will not store my pool settings and the robot just stands up in a wheelie position and doesn't stay on the bottom. It goes to the wall and just backs up a foot then hits it again. Completely useless! I tried contacting support and they said they were off for a holiday for a week and would get back with me after. Finally then came back and requested video of the issue. I sent a video then they replied, sorry we only support European buyers and not the products that are sold on Amazon!

Horrible app. It does not work. You connect via Bluetooth then it disconnects once in the water. The screen shots of the app shows there is a manual drive option, but it's not there in the actual app. Seems like a good robot but useless since you can't control it. It can only run in random pattern. Didn't pay $600 for a robot that kind of cleans. Also can't log into app. At sign in i put my email and I get the error "email cannot be blank"
